these works were created whilst in self-exile in paris..
living off a prayer and a few pennies, manifesting magic
from within my limited universe...
spliced out of contemporary ideas and classical concepts,
beneath the surface is a collision of religious iconography
and colonial materialism released upon the humbled peasants
of a 3rd world polynesia...

more 'works in progress' than finished pieces..the idealism behind
this series is about the traditional photographic print versus the digital.
It is about the photographer versus the painter... and it is about
photographs being returned to the realm of "works on paper"

too much too explain in a simple paragraph, i leave the interpretation up
to you, the viewer. i offer only  concepts of beauty, techniques, politics and poetry
through the principle use of photography and mixed media...
